We understand that you are deeply concerned about Bruce, who is nearing the end of his life and is currently resistant to hearing the Bible or scripture read. Let us come together in prayer and intercession for his soul and salvation.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB)
Father, we lift up Bruce to You in his time of need. We ask that You soften his heart to the truth of Your Word. Lord, we know that You desire for all to come to repentance and be saved. Please open his eyes to the love of Jesus Christ, who died for his sins. We pray for a miracle of salvation, that Bruce may turn to You and find peace and eternal life in Your presence.
It is important to remember that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that one can be saved. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Let us also pray for those around Bruce, that they may have the wisdom and courage to continue sharing the love of Christ with him. May they be guided by the Holy Spirit to speak the truth in love, knowing that the word of God is living and active.
"For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12 WEB)
We pray that Bruce may find comfort and hope in the knowledge of God's love for him. May he experience the grace and mercy that is freely offered through Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
