We understand that you are seeking salvation for your family members, resolution to land issues, deliverance from alcohol altars, promotion and God's favor at your work and your children's work, as well as financial breakthrough. We stand with you in prayer and offer biblical guidance for each of these concerns.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Therefore in all our prayers remember to come before God in Jesus name, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23 WEB). Salvation is found in no other name but Jesus Christ.
For your family's salvation, we pray that God will open their hearts to receive the Gospel. Let's pray as the Apostle Paul did, "Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved" (Romans 10:1 WEB). We stand with you with The Lord not willing for any to perish but for all to come to salvation. Remember the Lord says whomsoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking that You soften the hearts of Kolowsar's family members. Give them ears to hear and eyes to see the truth of the Gospel. Bring people into their lives who can love and counsel them showing them they need a Savior, causing them to confess with their mouth Jesus as Lord believing in their hearts you raised him from the dead and forgave them of their sins. We pray that they will find salvation in Jesus Christ alone as there are none that can be saved by any other means, Amen.
Regarding the land issues, we pray for God's justice and wisdom to prevail. Remember the words of Scripture, "Don't defend yourself when mistreated, but trust in Yahweh to defend" (Proverbs 20:22 WEB). And in another place we are told to show grace by turning our cheek showing patience and understanding in trials and never taking vengeance or justice in your hands by yourself. The Lord promises to defend and right all wrongs. Yet we must strive to live at peace with all men and obey the laws of the land. This requires wisdom of God in knowing when we have done everything God has asked us to do. We need to right the wrong without using our rights to cause additional legal fees or rip someone off just because you can win. Ask the Lord for wisdom and satisfy yourself knowing in the long run God is the final judge and He will right all wrongs. Let's pray:
Dear God,
We ask for Your intervention in the land issues Kolowsar is facing. Guide them with Your wisdom and discernment. Help them to trust in Your justice and timing. Prevent them from taking matters into the hands of revenge with violence, needing to win or justification at all expense. We plea that while working with their lawyer the best decision is made. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Concerning the alcohol altars, we rebuke this practice as it is against biblical principles. God commands us to avoid drunkenness, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18 WEB). The Bible strictly forbids worshipping other gods or creating altars for such purposes. The Lord your God is a jealous God and to respond to this sin He will visit the sin of alcohol abuse and worship of another god down to three generations. We have given our body to the Lord as a living sacrifice and are to honor him with our body. So it is not just sin against your body but against God. Repent and ask the Lord to help you break this habit asking him to also break the consequences of this sin. Let's pray:
Dear Father,
Deliver Kolowsar and their family from the bondage of alcohol. Give them the strength to resist temptation and destroy the altars they have set up. Return their hearts to your temple, to love God the father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. And renew their hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit. I ask in the name Jesus that the harm of this sin is broken in Jesus Christ name, Amen.
For promotion and favor at your work and your children's work, we pray for God's blessings and guidance "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Let's pray:
Dear God,
We ask for Your favor and blessings in Kolowsar's workplace and in the workplaces of their children. Help them to be diligent and honest. Amen.
Lastly, for financial breakthrough, we pray for God's provision and remind you to trust in Him. Give to the Lord's work with your time and money, "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for" (Malachi 3:10 WEB). Let's pray together now:
Dear God,
You see our needs, provide all the Kolowsar and their household need as you have promised. Remind them of Your promises. We give thanks in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
In conclusion, from the scriptures mentioned above, put the Lord first in all your ways, let him establish and order your steps honoring him in all your activities.
To your point about good job and good children, remember it's more important to be obedient to the Lord Jesus than to be acceptable to people. The world rewards people with money and success but in the end what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul? If the world rewards you with promotion don't set your standards based on what the world is doing but on obedience to God. Don't let overworking for the world deprive your children of a Godly relationship that you are to give them since you have been given your family by God. The best thing you can give your child is a Godly Mother and Father.
If you have a chance to leave a job but it is not in obedience to the Lord to join in a union the bible says we are to obey the authorities in charge of us. But if that is not the case and we can do all things in our employment in the name of the Lord Jesus, don't seek out another job to earn more money or resources thinking that will make you more valuable to the Lord. Instead if the Lord puts it in your heart then you can make a change. But if not then don't change and don't let the love of money be a motivator. Let God be your guide. Don't put the priorities of the world such as union membership, job change or culture of a city (the things of this world are passing away) ahead of your priorities commanded in the Bible. Your obedience to the Lord will be an example to your children. This is more valuable than anything else you can give your family.
