We join you, Miranda, in lifting up your unsaved family members and friends to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and mercy. We stand on the promise that God "desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for the salvation of Miranda's unsaved family members and friends. Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and open their ears to hear the full gospel. Send laborers into their paths, that they may hear the good news and have the opportunity to turn away from their sins and accept Christ by faith.
We also lift up the Jewish people, Lord. We pray that the scales will fall from their eyes and that they will recognize Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, as their long-awaited Messiah. We ask for their spiritual blindness to be removed and their hearts will find your salvation and protection.
Father, we also pray for your servant Maria who is currently ministering and possibly in danger in Israel. Heavenly Father we pray for her safety and protection and that her needs be met according to the riches of His glory. Keep her safe from the dangers and wars surrounding her as she spreads Your love and Your gospel.
We know the power of Jesus and the Gospel to change lives. We pray as Paul prayed for Israel, "Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved" (Romans 10:1 WEB) and perception. Jesus Himself said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day" (John 6:44 WEB).
You are in our thoughts and prayers as we stand with you according to the will of God and the Lord Jesus. Our prayers are with your family and friends, that they may find salvation in Jesus Christ, the only name by which they can be saved. Be encouraged and steadfast in your intercession, knowing that God hears your prayers and it is our obligation as Christians to spread the gospel.
Pray continually, for this is what God desires according to (1 Thessalonians 5:17 ). Continue to pray for their salvation and that they would become obedient to the gospel message and disciple them when the Holy Spirit calls them to repentence and salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ and The Holy Father himself. To God be the glory and the power forever. ( Amen ).
In the moments you may feel burdened or challenged, remember John 16:33:
"I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." John 16:33 WEB, despite the challenges of ministry.
Lastly we encourage you to always confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and that he is resurrected and by this faith and confession you are saved. ( Romans 10:9-10 )If you haven't already, make sure to share your own testimony with them, for "they overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death." Revelation 12:11 WEB. In order for them to become believers they will need to hear your testimony and witness your faith.
