We are truly concerned for ### and his current situation. It's important to address both his spiritual and practical needs, as well as the safety concerns raised.
Firstly, we need to understand that God wants all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. 1 Timothy 2:3-6 WEB
###'s belief that Jesus has never helped him reflects a misunderstanding of God's work in our lives. Even when we don't see it, God is always at work. We pray that ###'s eyes will be opened to see how God has been with him, even in his pain. As it is written, For I know the plans that I have toward you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
However, we must rebuke ###'s violent behavior. It is not acceptable for him to lash out physically or verbally at anyone. In Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, we are told to Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We pray that ### will repent of this behavior and seek God's forgiveness.
We also pray for ###'s job situation. We know that God cares about our practical needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus tells us Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up ###. Lord, he is hurting, angry, and feels alone. We ask that you reveal yourself to him, that he may know you as his Savior, Father, and Lord. Open his eyes to see that you have been with him, even in his pain.
We rebuke the spirit of violence and anger in him. Lord, help him to repent of this behavior and seek your forgiveness. Help him to channel his frustration in a healthy way and to find peace in you.
Father, we also ask that you provide for ###'s practical needs. Open up a job opportunity for him in his profession. Help him to find work that not only meets his financial needs but also brings him fulfillment and glorifies you.
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and your love for ###. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, we encourage the person who submitted this request to continue praying for ### and to stay safe. It's important to set boundaries and ensure your own safety while supporting ###. Consider involving local resources, professionals, or church leaders to help ### get the support he needs. And praise Jesus that protection was already given in the recent incident.
