We join you, Lucy, in lifting up Kalthoum, Abrar, Nisreen, Inness, Nada, and Ghufran before the throne of God. We appreciate your heart for these individuals and your desire to see them touched by the love and power of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And as the Apostle Peter declared in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up Kalthoum, Abrar, Nisreen, Inness, Nada, and Ghufran to You, Lord. We pray that You would grant them the gift of salvation, that they would truly say they're sorry for their sins, repent, and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that You would open their hearts and minds to the truth of the Gospel, and that they would find true peace and freedom in Christ.
Father, we also ask for Your healing touch upon their lives. We know that they have witnessed and experienced the horrors of war, and we pray that You would heal their bodies, minds, and spirits. We ask that You would comfort them, and help them healing from the trauma they have experienced in Jesus Christ's Name we pray.
We pray that they would know the hope of God's calling, and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty strength. We know that the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead will bring healing and restoration and a resurrected life to Kalthoum, Abrar, Nisreen, Inness, Nada, and Ghufran. And we will be giving thanks to You.
Father, we also pray for their safety and provision as they live in Egypt. We ask that You would surround them with Your protection, and that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray that You would guide them, and help them to grow in their faith and knowledge of You, that they would find a good Bible believing and preaching church and be discipled and mentored by mature Christian believers.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, trauma, or bitterness that may be affecting their lives as a result of what they have experienced. We command these spirits to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, and we speak peace, healing, and restoration over Kalthoum, Abrar, Nisreen, Inness, Nada, and Ghufran in Jesus Christ's Name we pray.
Father, we ask that Your will be done in their lives, and that they would bring glory to Your name and encouragement to the believers of Egypt and Sudan and the world and spread the Gospel message around the world. We thank You for hearing our prayers, and for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
Lucy, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for these individuals, and to trust in the Lord's promise in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
We also encourage you to share the Gospel message with Kalthoum, Abrar, Nisreen, Inness, Nada, and Ghufran, and to invite them to study the Bible with you. As it is written in Romans 10:13-15 WEB: "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!'"
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praising God and believing in His promises, as it is written in Psalm 100:4-5 WEB: "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. For Yahweh is good. His loving kindness endures forever, his faithfulness to all generations."
