We understand your concern for your grandson G and we join with you in prayer for his salvation and freedom from drugs.
Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says in Romans 10:13, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." We pray that G may come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and eternal salvation.
We also pray for G's deliverance from drug abuse. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that God will provide a way out for G and give him the strength to overcome this temptation.
Regarding the physical fight with his roommate, we pray for peace and reconciliation. In Matthew 5:9, Jesus says, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." We pray that G may be a peacemaker and that this situation may be resolved amicably.
We also lift up G's struggle with depression to the Lord. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that God will comfort G and bring healing to his heart and mind.
Lastly, we join you in praying that God will bring godly people into G's life. In Proverbs 13:20, it is written, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm." We pray that God will surround G with wise and godly friends who will encourage him in his walk with the Lord.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up G to You. Lord, we pray that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. We pray for his deliverance from drug abuse and depression. We pray for peace and reconciliation in his relationship with his roommate. We ask that You comfort him and bring godly people into his life to encourage him and help him grow in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In your prayers, remember to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
