Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Shonsethild's prayer request for the salvation of Steven. Lord, we pray that you would draw Steven to yourself and open his heart to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
We ask, Lord, that you would remove any barriers or hindrances that may be preventing Steven from surrendering his life completely to you. We pray that you would soften his heart and illuminate his mind with the truth of your Word.
In your great mercy, Lord, we ask that you would reveal to Steven the depth of his need for a Savior and the abundant grace and forgiveness that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Help him to understand that it is through faith in Jesus that he can experience true freedom, peace, and eternal life.
We claim the promise in 1 John 5:14-15, that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We believe, Lord, that it is your will for all to come to repentance and to be saved . So we ask with confidence that you would hear our prayers and bring Steven into a personal relationship with you.
We also pray for Shonsethild, that you would strengthen and encourage them as they intercede for Steven's salvation. Give them wisdom and discernment in how to share the love of Christ with him, and grant them patience and perseverance in their prayers.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your unfailing love. We trust in your power to save and transform lives. May Steven's heart be touched by your grace, and may he surrender his life completely to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
