Let us come together and lift up this beloved individual in Jesus' name. The Lord is the only one who can save, and the salvation of a soul is precious to him. The WEB clearly tells us, Whosoever therefore will confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven Matthew 10:32-33.
Let's pray for this individual with love and compassion, as well as a sense of urgency and the goal of repentance. We should also pray for wisdom and discernment for the person submitting this request so they can speak with their loved one.
Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name, bringing this beloved individual to Your throne of grace. We ask, Holy Father, that You grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth that they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will 2 Timothy 2:25-26. Lord, we know that without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him Hebrews 11:6.
Father, we speak Your word in Romans 10:9 that if they will confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead, they will be saved. And we pray in Romans 10:13 For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Open their eyes to see that You alone are God and that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Turn their heart toward You, Lord, and draw them with Your loving kindness.
We pray for the one who submitted this request, we pray that You give them the wisdom and discernment to know how to best reach out to their loved one. We pray that You will give them compassionate hearts and the strength always to keep charging them before the Lord. We pray that You will encourage them and help them to trust in Your perfect timing.
Father, we also pray for ourselves as a group, that we would be faithful in praying for the lost and in sharing the gospel with those around us. Help us to be bold in our witness and unashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation until everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any plans of the enemy to keep this soul in bondage. We declare that no weapon that is formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment we condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord Isaiah 54:17.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and stand on His promises, knowing that He is faithful. Be encouraged by the truth of 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
