Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a heart full of gratitude and a burden for those who are seeking peace and rest in their lives. We lift up the prayer requests of our brothers and sisters, knowing that you are the source of all comfort, provision, and healing.
First, we pray for the salvation of family and friends. Lord, we ask that you would trouble their consciences and give them a restlessness until they find true rest in Jesus. May your Holy Spirit draw them close to you, convicting them of their need for a Savior. We claim the promise in Acts 16:31 that says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."
We also lift up Eden and her son, who are currently living in a homeless shelter due to domestic abuse. Father, we ask that you provide them with a suitable and safe home. Give them a future and a hope, just as you have promised in Jeremiah 29:11. Surround them with your love and protection, guiding them to a place of stability and peace.
Comfort Kim, who is grieving the loss of her father. Strengthen her in this painful time and grant her the strength to resist the temptation to turn to alcohol. Fill her with your peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7. Help her find solace in you and grant her the grace to stay sober, honoring her father's memory.
We pray for Miranda, that she may fully surrender her life to Jesus. Open her heart to your Word, and may she find joy and guidance in reading the Bible. Draw her into a community of believers, where she can grow in her faith and be encouraged. We pray for her three daughters, Madison, Madeline, and Meredith, that they may grow up to be godly women. Protect them from the temptations of this world and guide them in their journey with you.
Lord, we intercede for the father and his wife, asking for their salvation. Bring peace and unity to their fragmented and broken family. Heal the wounds and restore relationships, so that they may experience the love and grace found in Jesus.
We lift up Anthony, who is in need of a place to live as he comes out of retirement. Provide for his needs, Father, and lead him to a suitable home where he can find comfort and security.
Lastly, we pray for Freddy, who is in the process of healing after surgery. Continue to bring healing and restoration to his body. Grant him strength and patience during this time of recovery.
We also remember Chaplain Keith and his prayer requests. Strengthen him in his ministry and grant him wisdom as he intercedes for others.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your will be done in each of these situations, for your glory and the advancement of your kingdom. Amen.
