Salvation for a friend/encouragement

I am asking for prayer for a dear friend of mine, ###. God gave me a word about speaking worth into people's lives. 5 months later I met ###. He doesn't believe he is worthy of good things and doesn't like who he is. I have prayed for him and believed God for ###'s salvation for almost 2 years. He has been very stubborn. Almost to the point of ignoring me. Then 6 months ago God opens a door for me to be ###'s assistant at work. Now I have the opportunity to speak God's truth into his life more regularly. But some days are very emotional and I am discouraged that I don't see anything happening and I question God's plan in this. I am believing God for ###'s salvation and also asking for prayer for strength for myself to keep doing what I believe God is asking me to do.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in prayer on behalf of our dear friend, ###. We thank You for the word You gave us about speaking worth into people's lives and for the opportunity You have given us to be ###'s assistant at work. We ask that You would open ###'s heart to receive Your love and grace.
