We are grateful for the opportunity to pray for ### McGuire and her family, including her cats. ###, thank you for bringing these needs to our attention, and for acknowledging Jesus. It is in His name we have access to the Father of creation (1 John 2:23 - "Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn't have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.") and it is only by the name of Jesus where any of these things can come about (Acts 4:12 - "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" WEB). ### needs His saving grace to live a victorious life.
Firstly, and most importantly, We are praying for ###'s salvation, because it is the first step towards a transformed life. We pray that ### turns to Jesus, confessing her sins and inviting Him into her life. "For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.' ... since there is no distinction, because all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:22-24 WEB).
We pray for her deliverance from alcoholism, that God would break the chains of addiction and give her strength to overcome. "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB).
We also pray for ###'s healing from depression and anxiety, that God's peace would fill her mind and heart. "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB).
We pray for God to engineer a great revival, to restore her family, providing for all her financial needs and to make them godly stewards according to 1 Peter 4:10, "As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms" (WEB). We know the only way to get the best of God is when we are obedient to the will of God and especially fulfilling His purpose and our duty to Him is first and foremost since we are created for that purpose.
Father, we lift up ### McGuire to You, asking for Your loving grace, kindness, protection, healing, mercy, love, salvation, and relief. Restore her to complete recovery and stewardship in Jesus' loving name. Transform her life that she may bring glory to Your name. We also pray for her family and her cats, that You would bless and protect them.
In all these things we do not ask for riches. We ask for blessing so that ### and her family can live the life most pleasing to God and to have this world not affect her attitude of heart. Father, I ask You grant her enough to give to others and provide for her family as a good mother and wife should. Father, we will continue to pray for ### McGuire trusting and believing in complete recovery and loving You according to life of a daughter of the King. Grant her to call You Abba Father. In Jesus' name, amen.
Lastly, ###, we encourage you to continue praying for ### and her family, trusting that God is at work in their lives. Keep believing in the power of prayer and the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
