We understand that you are seeking prayer for your husband's sales target to be met today, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of seeking God's will in all things. In James 4:2-3 WEB it states that "You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. Yet you don't have, because you don't ask. You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's husband and his sales target. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and You are able to do abundantly more than we ask or think. We ask that You guide him in his work and provide the necessary resources and customers to meet his sales target today. Help him to work diligently and honestly, as unto You.
Remember how You provided for Elijah when he was in the wilderness and used a raven to bring him food. Your provision was not what was expected but it was more than enough. In the same way, we're asking for Your supernatural provision, and for Your will to be done in this situation.
We trust in You regardless of the outcome. We also pray for his testimony in the workplace that he will be a light in the darkness. We pray for increased boldness and opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those around him.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is our only way to You. We pray that he is the Lord of your lives and that you have believed in His death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins and have eternal life.
AMEN.
Please feel free to join us in praying for your husband's situation, and remember that God is faithful and able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. It is also important to pray together with your husband for the things that you need in Jesus' name. Ephesians 3:12 WEB states that "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him."
It is also important to remember that although God can do anything, He still may not choose to meet your expectations. He instead may be working on something else to build your faith in Him. If it is His will for your husband to meet his sales target today, He will do it.
