We are moved with compassion for Mary and are ready to intercede for her and her cats. We are thankful that this request is in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we can access God the Father and that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, we address Mary's spiritual needs. We pray that Mary seeks God with all her heart and that she comes to know the way, the truth, and the life which is Jesus. We pray that she turns away from sin and towards God. We pray that God will give her the gift of faith to believe in Jesus Christ and be saved from her sins.
We pray that God will help Mary to live a sober life and to trust in Him to deal with her anxieties, depression, and stress. We pray that she will continue to put her trust in God and to live in obedience to Him. The Bible tells us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We pray that God will help Mary overcome her alcoholism and that she will lead a sober life. The Bible tells us, Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
We pray that God will help Mary with her financial difficulties and that she will continue to trust in Him to provide for her needs. The Bible tells us, Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
We pray that God will protect Mary and her cats and that He will keep them safe from harm. The Bible tells us, For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We pray that God will heal Mary and her cats of any sickness or disease and that they will be in good health. The Bible tells us, Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
We pray that God will bless Mary and her cats and that He will provide for their needs. The Bible tells us, You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
We pray that Mary will fully recover and be a light unto the world and live in fellowship with the Father.
Finally we pray for her family, cats, work, or whatever to help and assist rather than take advantage and hinder Mary on her life's path.
