We join you, Richolas, in lifting up Michael Forte and your upcoming union in prayer. It's beautiful to see your faith in the mighty name of Jesus, as Scripture assures us that "in all things you ask, believing, you will receive" (Matthew 21:22 WEB).
Firstly, we pray for Michael's safety on his vessel/camp and during his travel back to the states. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We claim Psalm 91 over Michael, trusting that no harm will befall him, nor any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10 WEB).
We also lift up Michael's family back home, asking the Lord to surround them with His hedge of protection. May He give them peace and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Regarding your union, we rejoice with you and pray for God's blessings upon your upcoming marriage. Marriage is a sacred institution, a picture of Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:32 WEB). We pray that your marriage will be strong, founded on the rock of Jesus Christ, and that together, you may fulfill God's purpose for your lives.
We also bring Michael's leave from service before the Lord. We trust that God, who has begun a good work in you both, will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6 WEB). We ask for favor and approval for his leave, believing that God's will is for you both to be united in His perfect timing.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue to walk in holiness, keeping yourselves pure for one another until your wedding day. Remember, "because you belong to Christ, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin" (Romans 8:2 WEB).
Lord Jesus, we ask for all these things according to Your will. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in Michael and Richolas' lives. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen.
