Safety in our old building

Jesus my Lord and Savior we reside in an extremely old building which is falling apart due to disagreement on the part of all the flat owners to either get it repaired or redeveloped. Currently there are big cracks forming in the ceiling and walls of our house in certain places and we have to get it repaired at the earliest which involves a lot of shifting and spending days thru dust and debris. Keep us under your loving care during it all and help the contractor finish the work in the least possible time. Bless us and keep us safe in the alternate accomodation and keep us all through the repairs in your loving care. We ask you Jesus to pour your precious blood over the cracks to prevent them from deepening and also not falling on anyone or anything in our house in the meantime. Cover us all with your precious blood and keep us safe from any harm in our house of any falling object. Strengthen our ceiling and walls in your mercy and make them strong with your divine intervention. Keep my husband who is also very unwell stable all thru this time so our repairs happen smoothly. We understand your concern for safety in your old building and appreciate your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. We stand with you in prayer, placing our trust in the Lord to guide and protect you during this challenging time.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' precious blood and you are praying to the only one that can save. For there is no other name given under heaven that we can use to access God and be saved by. As the scriptures say, And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in which we must be saved WEB.

In matters of disagreement, we encourage you to seek peace and unity with the other flat owners, as the Bible teaches us to live in harmony with one another (Romans 12:16 WEB). Pray for wisdom and guidance to resolve these disagreements, so that the necessary repairs or redevelopment can proceed.

Regarding your request to pray about covering all with his precious blood to prevent the cracks from deepening we need to look at the spiritual action of the blood of Christ. When we nod our head and believe that Jesus died for our sins, that he was buried and that he was resurrected according to the scriptures, we have access to the blood of Jesus to cover our sins. Also the scriptures say the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

As you navigate through the repair process, remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Trust in Him to keep you and your husband safe. Hopefully you also are praying comfort and relief for your husband in his health condition. The psalmist says Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22 WEB). Trust in God to provide a safe alternate accommodation and a smooth repair process.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this family in their time of need. We ask for Your divine intervention in their situation, that You would bring unity among the flat owners and guide them to a resolution that honors You.

Lord, we pray for Your protection over this family during the repair work. Keep them safe from any harm or falling objects. Strengthen the walls and ceiling of their home, and let your mercy and stability be shown. We ask for Your healing touch upon the husband, that he would be stable and well throughout this process. Provide a safe and comfortable alternate accommodation for them. We pray believing that we have asked this to the Glory of God... that the world may know that you are Lord and that you are executing your good and perfect will to all the world. Helping those to do your good and perfect will.

We ask for Lord for all of this in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God in the name of Jesus Christ. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB). This means that we also pray that you pray in the name of Jesus Christ and not just to God. This is very important to even mention again that the name of Jesus Christ is the only means by which we can access God and be saved by him.

We're right there with you, praying for safety and peace in your old building. It's tough living in a place that's falling apart, but we trust that God has a plan. We're asking Him to guide the flat owners to a resolution that's best for everyone, and to keep you and your husband safe throughout the repairs. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
