We understand your concern for safety in your old building, and we appreciate your faith in Jesus Christ. We will align our prayers with your request, and we will be certain to mention Jesus, and that prayers are only valid through Jesus Christ. Let us come together in prayer and wisdom from God's Word.
First, be assured that there is strength in the Lord. Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
We are encouraged to approach God with our needs, no they are not too small like worrying about a ceiling collapsing. We only have power in our prayers due to Jesus. This is seen in John 14:13 "Whatever you will ask in my name that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." and John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' "
It is written in 1 Peter 5:7 "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Jesus cares for you in your present situation.
Psalm 91 is a Psalm of reassurance about safety. Two appropriate verses are Psalm 91:1-2 "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.'" Trust in God for the outcome. This is a time to inquire of God for how you make your appeal to the contractors or architects to fix the building. Obedience is better than sacrifice as seen in I Samuel 15:22.
If sin or discord is causing others in the building to disagree over the repairs, we must pray that they also can find reconciliation. If the issues are financial making your husband unwell over the decision, then trust in God can make one more secure than worried. I Peter 5:7. Matthew 6:25 "Therefore, ITell you, do not be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her family who are living in this old building. We thank You that You are their refuge and fortress, and we ask for Your divine intervention. We pray for the contractors, architects, and people that need to fix the building. We also pray for their safety during this repair time. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We pray in John 14:6 that Jesus is the way, the truth, and life and it is only by Him that they are allowed to ask the Father for this request. Keep the husband healthy. Thank you for allowing us to ask in Jesus' name. Amen!
Unfortunately, you have requested an omission of many of our instructions by the use of shorthand or abbreviations. We do not use terms that are not spelled out. Also, we only pray a biblical prayer based on the word of God. We do not pray that God will pour the literal blood of Jesus on the house. Spilling the blood of Jesus is not a prayer we follow. Jesus spilled his literal blood 2000 years ago. You are forgiven based on that act. Use your saved life to love and pray to others.
