We join you, Saraha, in lifting up your concerns to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His care and protection.
Firstly, we are reminded of Psalm 91:11-12 WEB: "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone." We pray this over you as you venture out to the grocery store. We ask God to protect you on the icy roads and guide you safely to and from your destination.
Regarding your brother's illness, we are reminded of Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray for his healing and comfort, asking God to ease his symptoms and restore his health.
We are encouraged to see you praying in Jesus' name, as Jesus himself taught us to pray. God and man are united only in Jesus. He is our entrance to God and without Him, we cannot approach God.
Lastly, we are reminded of Proverbs 16:9 WEB: "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." We pray that God will guide your day, and that all will go well as planned, ultimately according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Saraha and her brother. Lord, please protect Saraha as she travels to the grocery store today. Guide her safely on the icy roads, and bring her home safely. We ask that You heal her brother of the flu, easing his symptoms and restoring his health. Thank You, Lord, for Your constant care and protection. We pray this all in Jesus' name.
Amen.
