Thank you for bringing Vincent's needs before us. Firstly, have faith in Jesus Christ. He tells us in Mark 9:23, "All things are possible to him who believes." It is only by the belief in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, just as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us agree together in Jesus’ name for Vincent's safe travels. "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). Praying for traveling mercies, protection from all harm, and good health throughout his journey.
We also lift up Vincent’s financial struggles and debts. The Bible tells us, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law" (Romans 13:8). While it is important to pay what we owe, we also know God can provide miraculously. "My God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
Regarding the battles with sexual temptations, we need to clearly address in the power of Jesus Christ in Vincent's life. It is noted in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." When Vincent is needed to be reminded that his body is sacred, to guard against any lust or inappropriate behavior toward others, to control his own body in holiness and honor. Not as the Gentiles do in their utter ignorance of God and his ways. He is not be sexually immoral and that God will judge this. He has not call us to sexual immorality but in holiness. Therefore, whosoever disregards this commandment is not disregarding a man's commandment but God. Vincent must glorify God with his body and spirit. He shall not fornicate, yet if his passion is aroused, it is better marry, for it is better than to burn with passion. It is better to marry than fornicate. That is, with another Christian, a marriage between a man and a woman. We will pray for Vincent to be strengthened to walk in purity. "Let us walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts" (Romans 13:13-14).
As for Vincent's need for salvation, praying Scripture: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10). The entire gospel message is found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 "Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,"
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Vincent. Provide safety during his travels, healing for his body and mind, debt cancellation, and victory over financial struggles. Place godly people around him to support and encourage him. Most importantly, draw Vincent closer to you, that he may confess Jesus Christ as His Savior, if he has not yet. Give him the power to overcome temptations and live a life that honors you. May the healing power of the Holy Spirit flow and transform his life and give him assurance in You and Jesus Christ.
