We join with you in praying for the safe travels of your daughter and granddaughter. Before we begin take note that Jesus himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Since this is true we ask you to be sure you have personally made Jesus Lord of your life and also have taught your daughter and granddaughter how to come to Jesus as Savior and Lord. It is important that you do this because "It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment."
Let us pray together. Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this daughter and granddaughter to You. We pray for Your angels to encamp around them, according to Psalm 91:11-12 "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." Psalm 34:7 "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." We ask for the angels to protect and guide them during their travels. We pray against any harm or danger coming near them, and we ask You, Lord, to bring them to their destination and back safely. We pray for their safe return.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord during this time, knowing that His love and care for your family are unfailing. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7.
We praise You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and protection. We declare Your sovereignty over their travels and thank You for Your promises. "The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore." Psalm 121:8. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12.
