We are glad to join with you in prayer for your daughter's safe journey home. We will pray for her protection and for a smooth and uneventful trip. May this situation also draw her closer to God and His protection for all of life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ, your daughter, to You. We ask, Lord, that You would guide her steps as she travels back home. We also ask that You would dispatch your angels to protect and keep her safe from all dangers, including accidents, road closures, and flight delays.
We also ask, Lord, that You would help her to feel Your presence with her as she travels. Help her to be aware that You are with her always, even to the end of the age. We also pray that if she does not know Jesus Christ as her savior, that You would impress upon her heart to seek you.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Remember God's promise to us in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
Also, remember God's promise to us in Psalm 121:8 WEB, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Know that our trust is not in our own abilities, but in the Lord. We pray that your daughter will also come to know this peace and rest that comes from trusting in the Lord.
Lastly, we also pray that your daughter will come to know the love of God and come into a relationship with Jesus Christ if she does not know Him as her savior.
For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 WEB.
Again, we pray for also for you the parent. May the Lord bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon you and give you peace.
