Safe travels

We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the ultimate healer and protector, as you travel to pick up your son from college. We stand in faith, believing that the Lord will grant you a safe journey.
Let us remember the words of Psalm 54:4:
"Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul."
In circumstances like this we remember that this help and sustaining will come through Jesus Christ, which our messiah and mediator to God. Without a belief in Jesus Christ we will not have this help nor will we be sustained.
Prayer:
Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name, for and with J.B. to ask for your protection and guidance. We ask You to bless the trip to pick up their son and God willing future spouse of another Christian woman that he may be courting. We pray that you keep his car running smoothly. We also pray for peace and trust in you and in your provision and protection for your faithful servant. Help them remember that you are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We ask that your angels encamp around them and their vehicle allowing for divine protection according to pslam 34:7 and Psalm 91:9-11. Let the breath of the Lord our God protect and care for your servant, especially during this trip. Also, we pray for there son who is in the college outside of the marriage covenant and God's design. Lord, bring your faithfulness and love before his eyes and into his heart. May he be able to resist the temptation of lust that is rampant in colleges. Help deliver him from the evil and anti-God agenda encouraged in many of our colleges and universities. For those faithful he meets there may your spirit direct him and them to becoming the men and women of God able to stand against the corruption that we see in our world today until the return of your son Jesus Christ.
Finally, we praise you Lord in advance of your wonderful help and thank you for hearing this prayer from your servants. Father we pray this all to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ; the only way to have this request answer, the only way to you dear Father and for your unending praise.
We encourage you, J.B., to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will guide and protect you and your son as you travel.
