Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother or sister in need of safe travels and a new job. We thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness in our lives.
Firstly, we pray for their safety during their travels. We claim your promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." May your protective hand be upon them, guiding and keeping them safe from all harm and danger.
Secondly, we pray for their job search. We know that you have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that you open the right doors and provide them with a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents for your glory. Remind them to "Commit your work to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." (Proverbs 16:3)
We also want to remind our brother or sister that it is in the name of Jesus that we come to you, Father. For "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). If they have not already, we encourage them to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for he is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Lastly, we pray that you would fill their heart with your peace and joy during this time of transition. May they rest in your love and trust in your perfect will for their life.

Heavenly Father, please build a hedge of protection around this person, guide them safely to their destination and also, you are Jehovah Jireh...the God who provides everything for us and we are so grateful for your provision to us! Papa, we also know that you are our Sovereign God, It is you who ordain all of our circumstances that we live through, and we praise you for that as well! Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you lead them to the job of your choosing in the near future. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist him during this time of need and ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you....in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
