Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We are glad to see that this request is in Jesus' Name. We stand with you in prayer for your son, his fiancé, and her father as they travel to San Francisco. Let us first address the travel and weather concerns, and then discuss the upcoming marriage and the biblical principles that should guide your son and his fiancé as they prepare for their new life together.
**Let us pray together in Jesus name**
We ask for traveling mercies, that You, Lord, will be their guide and protector throughout this journey.
Keep them safe from all harm and danger, and let Your angels encamp around them, Father we thank You that "He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways"
We pray for good, pleasant, sunny, warm tranquil weather throughout their stay and that their time will be productive. We ask that You will make the rainy weather they are predicting the opposite. We can ask this because we know You are able.
We pray that Your will be done in their lives and that You will prepare a place for them that is suitable and affordable. We thank You for Your promises, and we claim Your word in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."
As they prepare for marriage, we pray that they will seek God's will for their union and that the words of God will guide their relationship.
Psalm 37:5 "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"
Ephesians 5:33 "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
We encourage your son and his fiancé to remain chaste and pure before marriage, as this is God's design for relationships.
1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Ephesians 5:3 "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;"
We also pray that their marriage will be a lifelong commitment, reflecting the love of Christ for His church.
Matthew 19:6 "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
As they begin this new chapter in San Francisco, may they always put God first in their lives and honor Him in all they do.
Matthew 6:33 "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We rejoice with you and thank God for a new marriage.
Lord, guide them in this.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, as your son prepares for his new job, we pray that he will be a light for Christ in his workplace, demonstrating integrity, honesty, and excellence in all he does.
Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"
We trust that God will guide their steps and provide for all their needs as they embark on this new journey together. May He bless their union and grant them a fruitful and joyful marriage.
John 16:24 "Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
Blessings in Jesus Name.
