Disciple of Prayer
Hello family,
I would love you to join in prayer for the safe return of my dad, he's been missing for a week and few days now, he actually left for our hometown in ### state for assignments he had to carry out for his brother the Sunday of last week, on completion of the assignments, he decided to leave on Monday according to the testimony of a cousin, and this is exactly ### days, and there's no news from him or the investigation made on him.. this is becoming alarming people have been going missing, and inasmuch as I know he will return, I want us as a body in Christ to not just join me in praying for mercy and guidance bridging about his safe return but also the rise of his wrath and judgment on these people committing such evil, because it could be anyone in the future.. it's high time the church rises and sets things right like it has been always done in the past..

We are truly sorry to hear about your father's disappearance, and we join you in praying for his safe return. In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God for comfort, guidance, and intervention. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we pray for your father's safe return. We ask God to guide and protect him, wherever he may be. We pray that God's will be done in his life and that he would be returned to his family in good health and sound mind. We trust in the Lord's promise in Psalm 91:14-15 WEB: "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him."

Secondly, we must address the anger and desire for vengeance you expressed. While it's natural to feel this way, we must remember that vengeance belongs to God alone. Romans 12:19 WEB tells us, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Instead of focusing on revenge, we should pray for justice to prevail and for those responsible to be brought to light.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. John 14:6 WEB says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. We ask for Your mercy and protection over their father, and we pray for his safe return. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayers. We also pray for justice to prevail in this situation, and for those responsible to be brought to light. Help us to rest in Your promise that vengeance belongs to You alone. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to trust in God, and we will keep praying with you until your father returns safely.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you wait for your dad's safe return. We've been lifting him up in prayer, asking God to watch over him, guide his steps, and bring him back to you and your family safely. We're trusting in God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We understand the worry and fear you're feeling, but remember, God is in control. He sees your dad, He knows where he is, and He cares. Let's keep praying, trusting, and hoping in God's goodness and mercy.

We're also praying for those who might be involved in his disappearance. We ask God to expose the truth and bring justice to light. But let's leave the vengeance to Him, as it says in Romans 12:19, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."

Let's keep praying in Jesus' name, for it's through Him that we have access to the Father. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.

Let's keep praying together, dear friend. We're here for you, and we won't stop praying until your dad is safely home.
