Thank you for reaching out and sharing your heart with us. We are here to pray with you and to offer guidance from God's Word.
Firstly, we want to address the situation with the father of your unborn child. It is unfortunate that he is not being supportive and that his girlfriend is causing harm. It is important to remember that God is your true source of strength and comfort. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We pray that God will heal your heart and bind up your wounds, providing you with the peace and comfort you need.
However, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear. If the father of your child is involved with another woman, this is not in line with God's will. It is important to pray for him, that he may turn from his ways and seek God's forgiveness. We also pray that you will forgive him and his girlfriend for the hurt they have caused, just as Christ forgave us. Ephesians 4:32 says, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
We also want to remind you that sex outside of marriage is not in line with God's will. We are not condemning you, but encouraging you to seek God's forgiveness and turn from this sin. Hebrews 13:4 says, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. We pray that God will guide you and the father of your child towards repentance and a commitment to purity and God's plan for your lives.
Regarding your unborn child, we trust that God will grant you a safe delivery. Remember that children are a gift from God. Psalm 127:3 says, Look, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is a reward. We pray that God will guide you as you raise your child, providing you with the wisdom and resources you need. We also pray for God to secure the presence of a father in your child's life either through reconciliation with the child's father or through another godly man who you would marry.
Finally, we want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to God. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We pray that you will put your trust in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her unborn child. Lord, we pray for a safe delivery and for Your protection over them. We ask that You will heal her heart and bind up her wounds, providing her with Your peace and comfort.
Father, we also pray for the father of her child. We ask that You will convict him of his sins and draw him to Yourself. We pray for his salvation and for him to take responsibility for his actions. We also pray for his girlfriend, that she may know the truth and turn from her ways.
Lord, we ask that You will guide this sister, giving her the strength to forgive and to walk in Your ways. We pray that You will provide for her and her child, guiding her as she raises her child for Your glory.
Finally, Father, we pray that she will put her trust in Jesus, believing that He is the way, the truth, and the life. We ask that You will fill her with Your Spirit, guiding her in all truth.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
