We are truly heartened to hear that you have lifted up your son Jakeb in prayer and acknowledged the power of Jesus' name. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us come together in prayer for Jakeb, trusting in God's love and sovereignty. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit in Psalm 34:18 WEB. Do pray the following:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Jakeb in prayer. Lord, You know the depths of his suffering and the trial of his mental health. We ask, if it is Your will, that You would grant him happiness and a sense of purpose. Comfort him with Your presence, and remind him of Your unfailing love.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and guidance as Tachick seeks a new therapy provider for Jakeb. Lead them to someone who can provide compassionate and effective care. We rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be attempting to take hold of Jakeb's life, and we proclaim that he is a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14 WEB.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would touch Jakeb, embrace him, and bring healing and wholeness to his mind and body. Help him to know that he is not alone, and that he has a hope and future in You in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen Tachick as well, and fill her with Your peace and joy as she supports her son. Help her to trust in You and to rest in Your promises.
We praise You, Lord, for You are good and Your love endures forever in Psalm 136:1-26 WEB . We ask all these things with expectation and thanksgiving, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Jesus, for what You are going to do. Amen.
Take heart, Tachick, for the Lord is with you and Jakeb in this trial. Do continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB . Trust in His promises, and seek His will in all things. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
