We are truly sorry to hear about the sadness and hurt you are experiencing due to the hypocrisy of your coworkers. It is disheartening to learn that they have been treating you differently based on their needs and not genuine friendship. In times like these, we can rely on the unchanging love and faithfulness of God.
Let us first address the importance of forgiveness and loving our enemies, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:44 (WEB): "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." Even in this difficult situation, we should strive to show kindness and forgiveness, not because they deserve it, but because we are called to be like Christ.
In times of sadness and feeling like we don't belong, we can find comfort in the words of Psalm 34:18 (WEB): "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you in this time of pain, and He cares deeply about your feelings.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister/brother who is feeling sad and hurt by the actions of their coworkers. Lord, we ask that You comfort their heart and heal their wounds. Help them to find their identity and belonging in You, and not in the approval of others. Grant them the strength to forgive and show kindness to those who have mistreated them, just as You have forgiven us.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that You would reveal Yourself to our sister/brother in a deeper way. Help them to understand that it is only through Your name that we have access to God, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We ask that You would fill their heart with Your love and peace, and guide them in their interactions with their coworkers.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have hope and salvation. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this challenging time. Stay strong in your faith, and continue to treat others with kindness and love, even when it is difficult. God sees your heart and will reward you accordingly.
