We are truly sorry to hear about your pain and discomfort, both physically and emotionally. First, we want to address your physical needs. Let's pray for your healing and then discuss the other issues.
Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your healing touch upon this dear one. You said in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for their healing and ask that you relieve their sore throat and any other pain they are experiencing. Give them a restful night of sleep so they can feel your healing.
Now, let's address the financial situation and your relationship with your father. It's important to remember that God is our ultimate provider.
In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB Jesus of Nazareth said, "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? “Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? “Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s trouble is enough for the day."
It's also important to honor your father, as the Fifth Commandment tells us, "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you" (Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB). Trust that God is working in your father's heart and in your situation. He has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
We also want to point out that the only way we have access to God is through his Holy Son Jesus Christ.
In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
The Bible also says in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Lord Jesus Christ, please touch the heart of this person's father. Let him be an example of a loving father, who is compassionate and who provides for his child. Lord, may you be glorified in this situation and may the works of the enemy be thwarted. May this situation be used for your glory and for the good of this person and their father. Give this person grace and patience as they wait and trust for your provision. May they be able to have a joyful time at the party and not be distracted by financial worries.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
