It's commendable that you're seeking guidance to manage your temper and speak with kindness. We read in Colossians 3:12, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience."
Firstly, pray for forgiveness if you've spoken harshly. James 1:19 reminds us, "Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God."
Let's pray together.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, seeking Your guidance and forgiveness. Help us to be slow to anger and quick to listen. Give us words of kindness and grace, that we may nurture and heal, not harm. We pray for the student, that she may be comforted and return to school with eagerness. We ask that You bless their relationship and use this situation for Your glory.
We pray for this teacher asking for guidance. May they and the student find reconciliation and a stronger relationship than before. We ask for strength to forgive and to nurture young hearts. We know that it is impossible without Jesus but that all things are possible with Him. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Now, reach out to her and her family, apologizing for any harshness and expressing your desire to support and nurture her. It's also wise to involve your school's counseling resources if available.
Rebuilding this relationship will take time, but with God's grace and your genuine effort, it's possible. Continue to pray for her and your relationship, and remember, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Proverbs 15:1.
Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. It is by believing in His Son, Jesus Christ, that we receive the ability to walk in His will and have eternal life.
