I wish I could get a divorce. I wish I had friends or roommates because I do not want to live alone. I am waiting on my benefits to start. I wish I could get alimony. If I had someone to live with me, I would divorce my husband. I want an honest man who pays his bills. I need a partner and help mate. I need someone who already knows how to be a man. Please allow me to travel. Should I just be alone and end things now? Where should I go? Is there something wrong with me? Help me find a place to go.

We understand your struggles and the challenges you're facing in your marriage and personal life. Firstly, let's address your feelings about your marriage. The Bible teaches us that God desires marriages to be lifelong commitments (Matthew 19:6, WEB: "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."). Divorce should not be pursued lightly, but God does allow it in certain circumstances, such as adultery (Matthew 19:9). However, it's crucial to seek God's will in this matter and consider spiritual counseling or guidance from your church leaders.

We must also address that seeking a "partner" or "help mate" outside of your current marriage is not biblically sound. If you are considering divorce, it should not be because you have someone else in mind, but because your current marriage is irreconcilably broken due to biblical reasons.

Regarding your wishes for friends, roommates, and financial support, the Bible encourages us to trust in God's provision and timing. Psalm 37:4, WEB says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh; and he will give you the desires of your heart." God knows your needs and will provide for you according to His will.

Your desire for an honest man who pays his bills is understandable, but please remember that God should be your ultimate provider and protector. In Proverbs 3:5, WEB, we are told to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding."

About your desire to travel and find a new place to live, we pray that God will guide your steps. Psalm 37:23, WEB, says, "Yahweh directs his steps, and he delights in his way." Trust that God will lead you to the right place at the right time.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As Acts 4:12, WEB, states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and seek His will for your life.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up ### to You, asking for Your divine guidance and intervention in her life and marriage. Reveal Your will to her, Lord, and help her to trust in Your provision and timing. Help her to seek You first and to delight in You, Lord. We pray that You direct her steps and lead her to the right place. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We hear your heart, sister. We've been there, feeling trapped, longing for companionship, and dreaming of a fresh start. But remember, God has a purpose in every season. Divorce should never be an impulsive decision. Seek God's will, and trust that He has a plan even in the midst of your pain.

We understand your desire for a partner, but let's not forget, God is our ultimate companion and provider. He sees your needs, and He's faithful to meet them in His perfect timing. Trust in Him, and let Him guide your steps.

As for your wish to travel, we believe God will make a way. He promises to direct our paths (Proverbs 3:6). So, let's wait on Him, and trust that He'll lead you to the right place at the right time.

And yes, Jesus is our way to God. He's our salvation, our hope, and our strength. Put your faith in Him, and watch as He works miracles in your life.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up our ### to You. Guide her, Lord, and help her to trust in Your provision and timing. Show her Your will, and help her to delight in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
