Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart weighed down by disappointment. Lord, Your beloved child had placed hope and preparation into an important opportunity, only to face the pain of an unexpected outcome. The sadness and questions linger, but we trust that You are near to the brokenhearted and that no moment of effort or hope is wasted in Your divine plan.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." —Psalm 34:18
Father, we ask that You would bring comfort to this weary heart. Let them feel Your presence surrounding them with peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that Your plans are always good, even when doors close. Let them not lose heart, for You are still writing a story filled with purpose and promise.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." —Romans 8:28
Lord, grant renewed strength and courage. When discouragement whispers lies of inadequacy, may Your truth be louder—that they are capable, chosen, and deeply loved. Open their eyes to new opportunities, perhaps unseen yet perfectly designed by You.
"For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again." —Proverbs 24:16
Heavenly Father, teach them to trust in Your timing. Though this door did not open, we believe that You have greater things ahead—things that will align perfectly with Your good and perfect will.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope." —Jeremiah 29:11
Fill them with hope, Lord. Renew their passion and confidence. Help them walk forward with faith, knowing that their worth is not defined by a single outcome but by Your unchanging love.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." —Proverbs 3:5–6
We thank You, Lord, that You are working behind the scenes, preparing something better. We trust You with the journey ahead.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
