Sad and disappointed

Thread Cover Image
We are truly sorry to hear that the interview did not yield the results you hoped for. Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for everything, even when we don't understand it. Let us rebuke the feeling of despair, in the name of Jesus. Even when we are faithful, our plans are not His plans. In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For this reason, we say from WEB Romans 8 verses 18 and 28.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
We know that all things work together for good toward those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister Grace Saved by Grace, who is feeling sad and disappointed after the interview. We pray that You will comfort her heart and remind her of Your sovereignty and love. Help her to trust in Your perfect plan, even when it's difficult to understand. We rebuke any attacks of the enemy on her self worth, and stand in agreement that your plan is not to harm her but to give her hope and a future.

Open the right doors for her, Lord, and guide her steps as she continues to seek Your will. Give her the strength and courage to persevere, and help her to remain hopeful. Grace Saved by Grace, do not forget what was mentioned earlier, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, died for our sins, and rose again that we could now have access to the Father. To him that overcomes we shall inherit all things, and He will be our God, and we shall be His children.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Grace Saved by Grace, we are all children of God by faith in Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with a heart weighed down by disappointment. Lord, Your beloved child had placed hope and preparation into an important opportunity, only to face the pain of an unexpected outcome. The sadness and questions linger, but we trust that You are near to the brokenhearted and that no moment of effort or hope is wasted in Your divine plan.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." —Psalm 34:18

Father, we ask that You would bring comfort to this weary heart. Let them feel Your presence surrounding them with peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that Your plans are always good, even when doors close. Let them not lose heart, for You are still writing a story filled with purpose and promise.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." —Romans 8:28

Lord, grant renewed strength and courage. When discouragement whispers lies of inadequacy, may Your truth be louder—that they are capable, chosen, and deeply loved. Open their eyes to new opportunities, perhaps unseen yet perfectly designed by You.

"For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again." —Proverbs 24:16

Heavenly Father, teach them to trust in Your timing. Though this door did not open, we believe that You have greater things ahead—things that will align perfectly with Your good and perfect will.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope." —Jeremiah 29:11

Fill them with hope, Lord. Renew their passion and confidence. Help them walk forward with faith, knowing that their worth is not defined by a single outcome but by Your unchanging love.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." —Proverbs 3:5–6

We thank You, Lord, that You are working behind the scenes, preparing something better. We trust You with the journey ahead.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
