We understand your concern and anxiety about the potential job loss, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we would like to address the prayer itself. The way the prayer is presented seems to be as if we are instructing God on what to do, rather than submitting to Him. The Word of God says:
2 Chronicles 20:12: O our God, won't you judge them? For we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither know we what to do, but our eyes are on you.
James 4:13: Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain. Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that. But now you glory in your boasting. All such glorying is evil.
Let us trust God and submit your situation to Him.
That being said, we are called to pray in the name of Jesus. This is important because it is only through Jesus that we are able to approach God.
John 14:6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Now, let us pray for your situation:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing job uncertainty. You know the anxiety and fear that this situation brings. We ask that You will comfort and strengthen them during this time.
We pray that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will that this job remains, we ask that You will work it out so it stays. If it is not, we ask that You will provide another job that is better and more suited. We trust in Your plan and purpose for their life.
We also pray that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We know that You are a good Father who cares for His children.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Also, we would like to encourage you with these verses:
# Matthew 6:25-34: Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add one cubit to his height? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
