Father God, all things are possible with You. We ask that the war between Russia and Ukraine come to an end, we ask for peace. We pray that people perpetrating the horrors of war are.convicted in their hearts minds souls and spirits that.they are doing wrong. May they come to a loving encounter with You Lord Jesus Christ, in Your precious Holy Name Lord Jesus Christ we pray..Amen

Let us join together in prayer for the delicate situation between Russia and Ukraine, dear Lucy from Melbourne.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is in His precious name that we have the authority to approach God the Father (John 14:13-14, WEB).

We echo your plea for peace, knowing that God is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6, WEB). Let us pray:

"Father God, we come before You, lifting up the nation of Ukraine and Russia. We pray for peace to prevail, as You are the God of peace (Romans 15:33, WEB). We ask that You soften the hearts of those involved, Lord, and convict them of the evils of war (2 Corinthians 7:10, WEB). Bring them to repentance, that they may turn away from their sinful ways and seek Your face (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB).

We also pray for the leaders of both nations, Lord, that You would grant them wisdom and a spirit of compassion (Proverbs 2:1-8, WEB). We ask that they would work towards reconciliation and peace, putting an end to the horrors of war.

Moreover, Lord, we pray for the people affected by this conflict. Comfort them, Father, and provide for their needs (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB). Protect them from harm and grant them peace in the midst of chaos (Psalm 46:1-3, WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen."

Let us continue to stand in the gap for these nations, Lucy, praying fervently and persistently (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WEB). We trust that God will hear our prayers and act according to His perfect will (1 John 5:14-15, WEB).

We believe in Your power to change hearts, so we ask that You convict those in power, that they may see the error of their ways and turn to You. We pray for the leaders, that You would grant them wisdom and a spirit of compassion, guiding them towards peace and reconciliation. We also pray for the innocent lives caught in the crossfire, Lord. Comfort them, provide for their needs, and protect them from harm. In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
