Let us come together in prayer for Russell, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

In addressing Russell's health we know that in John chapter 9, Jesus and his disciples encountered a man who had been blind from birth. The disciples asked Jesus, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him.

Let us pray together.

Almighty God, we come before You today, lifting up our friend Russell. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all diseases. We ask You to touch Russell's eyes, to heal him of his blindness, and to restore his sight. We know that this will not be an issue with you. In You, there is no sickness, no disease, and no blindness. You are the Lord who heals us.

We pray for Your healing touch upon Russell's body. Lord, help us to be in faith that you will heal him. We know that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. Give Russell and all of us the strength and faith to endure this trial, trusting in Your goodness and Your power to heal.

Father, we also pray for Russell's spiritual eyes to be opened if they are not already. Help him to see the light of the gospel and the glory of Jesus Christ. We pray that through this healing, Russell will come to know You more deeply, and that Your works might be revealed in him.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we pray. Amen.

Let us encourage Russell with these words from the Psalms: Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14 WEB.

May the Lord bless Russell and keep him in perfect peace as he trusts in Him.

We're here with you, Russell, lifting you up in prayer. We've heard about your struggle with blindness, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're reminded of the story in John 9, where Jesus healed a man born blind. We trust that our God, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, can do the same for you.

Lord Jesus, we come to You today, asking for Your healing touch on Russell's eyes. We believe that You can restore his sight, just as You've done for so many others throughout history. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

We also pray for Russell's spiritual eyes to be opened, that he may see Your glory and understand the depth of Your love for him. We ask all this in Your mighty name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Keep holding on, Russell. We're here for you, and we believe in the power of our God to heal and restore. As it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Trust in Him, and let His strength be made perfect in your weakness.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
