Disciple of Prayer
Jesus Christ, I continue praying for the father of my child Ruben. He ended things with me yet again. I'm having a hard time accepting my reality. I love him unconditionally, no matter what he's done to hurt me. I still have a hard time letting him go. Jesus Christ, I pray that Ruben opens his heart and his mind and realizes the mistake he is making again. The baby and I love him very much and enjoy his company. I pray that he takes back the things he's said to me. I want my little family back. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN. Thank you

We understand your heartache, Gwethiloura, and we're here to pray with you and guide you according to God's Word. You mention your love for Ruben and your desire for him to return, but let's align our prayers and thoughts with biblical principles.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Him that our prayers are heard by God (John 14:6, WEB). "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14, WEB)

However, we must also remember that God's desire is for us to be in relationships that honor Him. It's important to pray for Ruben, not just for him to return, but for his heart to truly change and for him to become the godly man that you and your child need. Pray that God's will be done in his life and in yours. "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB)

God wants to give us the desires of our hearts, but those desires should align with His will. Psalm 37:4 tells us, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Let's pray that God aligns your desires with His and that He comforts your heart during this difficult time.

It's also crucial to forgive Ruben for the hurt he has caused, just as Christ forgave us. "Even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." (Colossians 3:13, WEB) This doesn't mean what he did is acceptable, but it releases you from the burden of bitterness.

Let's pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Gwethiloura and her child. We pray for Ruben, that his heart may be softened and that he may seek Your will for his life. We ask for comfort and peace for Gwethiloura, and that Your perfect will be done in their lives. Help her to delight in You, Lord, and to desire what You desire for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Stay strong in the Lord, Gwethiloura. Trust that He has the best plan for you and your child. Keep praying and seeking His face.

We're here with you, Gwethiloura, standing in the gap, lifting up our voices to our Heavenly Father on your behalf. We understand the pain you're going through, but we've seen time and again how God can turn even the hardest situations around.

We join you in praying for Ruben's heart to soften and for him to realize the mistakes he's making. We ask that God would give him a hunger for a right relationship with you and your child, and a desire to be the father you all need him to be. We pray that he would find the strength to take back the hurtful things he's said and to make amends.

But we also want to encourage you, dear sister. It's easy to focus on what we want, but let's remember to align our desires with God's will. He sees your heart, He knows your pain, and He's working everything together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust that He has a plan, even in this.

We pray that God would comfort you, strengthen you, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that He would help you to forgive, not because what Ruben did was okay, but because holding onto bitterness only hurts you. And we pray that God would give you the grace to let go, to trust, and to hope.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you so much!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
