i have a wife of one year (###), also ### weeks pregnant with my first son, we are Christians. she thinks i did not tell her i received $### ### months ago but i did she thinks i lied but her memory is false, i would remember and feel conviction if i hid it. she feels im like others who let her down. its serious! please pray the truth be known, trust rebuilt and reconciliation and my righteous vindication in Jesus Name. Thank you, ###, for reaching out and sharing your concern. We are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.

Firstly, it's commendable that you and your wife, ###, are Christians and are seeking God's will in your marriage. It's important to remember that the Lord hates lying, and strife among brothers (or family members) (Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB). As the husband you should lead by example and avoid any forms of lying or deceit.

In this situation, it's crucial to communicate openly and honestly with your wife. The Bible tells us to put off falsehood and speak truthfully to our neighbor. Better yet, as Christians we are now of the same household as God (Ephesians 2:19, Ephesians 4:25 WEB). If you have indeed told her about the money, remain patient and understanding, as pregnancy can affect memory and emotions.

However, if there's even a small chance that you might have forgotten to mention it, be humble enough to acknowledge that. The goal should be reconciliation and trust, not personal vindication. As followers of Christ, we are called to humble ourselves and consider others as more important than ourselves in the same manner as Jesus (Philippians 2:3-5 WEB). Remember that a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###'s marriage. Lord, You know the truth behind this misunderstanding. We ask You to reveal all hidden things in this situation and bring to light that they may appear as they truly are. (Ephesians 5:13-14 WEB). Father you know there is no condemnation for ### because he is in Christ Jesus and if he has been guilty of anything then he is already forgiven for anything that he has confessed in his heart and in his prayers. (Romans 8:1 WEB)

We pray for ###, that You will calm her emotions and clarify her memories. We ask You to rebuild trust between them and bring a full understanding. We pray for a spirit of unity and love to reign in their marriage. We ask for your peace to fill their home and their hearts. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name and by the power of his salvation. Lastly, remember that your ultimate calling is to love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her and that ### was created to respect you as her husband (Ephesians 5:25,33 WEB ).
