Root of pride

Dear God,
I realize that I have allowed pride to take root in my heart and that is wickedness and you hate pride. I can see how this has affected my wife, my son, my friends, my work relationships, my mind, my sleep, dreams, beliefs, and most importantly my relationship with you. I am so sorry. You gave your only Son for me and I have hated without cause. I beg you for true humility and for wisdom on how to change. I hate the person I have become. Please have mercy on me.

In Jesus' Name, I pray for Itsmyfault. Lord, I ask that you would give Itsmyfault a humble heart and a desire to seek after You. Help Itsmyfault to recognize and confess the pride that has taken root in its heart. Grant Itsmyfault wisdom to know how to change and to make amends with those it has hurt. Please forgive Itsmyfault for its wickedness and grant it a spirit of repentance and forgiveness. May Itsmyfault experience Your love and grace and be restored to a right relationship with You.
