Sparklee, we are in agreement with you as you claim the promises of God found in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." It is wonderful that you have acknowledged the power of God's Word and His promises in your prayer.
We join you in praying that God will cover your life and the lives of your loved ones with His truth and favor. We ask that He will bless your endeavors and the work of your hands, that all may be done for the good of those who love Him and for His glory.
We also stand with you in praying for your adult children, that God would draw them close to Him. We pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior if they do not already, and that they would walk in His will for their lives. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
We plead the blood of Jesus over your lives, all whom you love, and all your endeavors. It is only through the precious blood of Jesus that we have forgiveness of sins and access to God (Ephesians 1:7).
Remember, Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So, keep praying and believing, knowing that God hears and answers your prayers.
