Lord help us to be reminded of Joseph, when his brothers sold him into slavery, yes he suffered a lot but through his slavery , he was set up in high places and delivered his family from starvation and saved a nation by God's hand. He also was 2nd in command to pharaoh in the land. Sometimes we get short sighted and don't see the end result Lord. Help us to hold to Romans 8:28 knowing, All things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I stand in total agreement with you on this prayer. We do not have the big picture. Some things in our life, we will never understand why. Others, it's like years later we figure it out. I had this boyfriend once. Everybody thought so highly of him. People were miffed at me for dumping him to go into the Army. I myself had many, many regrets that I did not marry him. Well, turns out he is a doper and a cocaine addict. God made me dodge that bullet, and I did not come to understand this until years later. Yours in Christ, Lamb.

I love this! Thanks for sharing. I have been thinking a lot of Joseph lately and finally coming to a full understanding of what God has called me to do...pray for my husband's eternal salvation and for our marriage and family to be completely healed and restored.
