We pray for this in Jesus name, amenWe understand that you are seeking assurance and salvation, and we are here to pray with you and guide you according to the Word of God. The verse you shared from Romans 10:13 in the New International Version states, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." This is a powerful truth that we want to affirm and expand upon from the World English Bible (WEB).
Firstly, let's read this verse in the WEB: "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) This promise is not just for some, but for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord. However, it is essential to understand who the Lord is. The apostle Paul, who wrote the book of Romans, makes it clear that the Lord he is referring to is Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-10).
We want to ensure that you understand that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we encourage you to call on the name of Jesus Christ if you haven't already.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for the promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. We pray for Tohient, that they may truly know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If they have not yet called on His name, we pray that they would do so now. Lord, reveal yourself to Tohient, grant them faith to believe in you, and give them the assurance of their salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth that one makes confession unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). If you have any other concerns or need further guidance, please feel free to share with us. We are here to help and pray with you.
