Avanethamp, we join you in lifting up your grandma in prayer, but we want to clarify a few things according to the teachings of the Bible.
Firstly, we believe that God has the power to heal, even in heaven. However, it's important to understand that once a person has passed away and is in heaven, they are already in the presence of God, experiencing perfect joy, peace, and health. As it is written in Revelation 21:4 (WEB), "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away." So, we can trust that your grandma is already healed and at peace in God's presence.
Secondly, we want to remind you that when we pray, we should do so in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is through Jesus alone that we have access to God and can experience His love and grace.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the life of Avanethamp's grandma and for the hope we have in You. We trust that she is now in Your loving arms, experiencing the fullness of Your joy and peace. Comfort Avanethamp and their family in their time of grief, and help them to trust in Your goodness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to take heart in the knowledge that your grandma is already in a place of perfect healing and peace. Trust in God's love for you and for her, and remember that He is always with you, even in times of sorrow. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
