We understand that you are seeking God's intervention for your daughter's job offer and the financial burden your family is facing due to your husband's illness. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus and recognizing His mighty name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. For there is no other name given to us whereby we must be saved. See Acts 4:12:
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In times of need, it is essential to turn to God for provision and trust in His care. We are reminded in Matthew 6:25-34 that God knows our needs and will provide for us as we seek His kingdom and righteousness first.
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let us pray together for your daughter's job offer and your family's financial needs:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You know their needs and the financial burden they are facing. We ask for Your mercy and provision for their daughter's job offer. May You turn the verbal confirmation into a written offer letter, and confirm this job if it is Your will.
Father, we also pray for the healing of our sister's husband. We ask for Your divine touch and restoration of his health. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness to provide for their every need as they seek Your kingdom and righteousness first.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remain steadfast in your faith. Trust in God's perfect plan for your family, and may His peace and comfort be with you as you await His provision. Be encouraged with the words in Romans 8:28:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
