Let's urgently pray for Gwuelianmond who is on their knees seeking help. God, please hear their cry: "He lifts the needy out of their affliction" (Ps 107:41). Trust His strength: "My grace is sufficient" (2 Cor 12:9). May He provide comfort and hope. In Jesus' name!

It pains my spirit when God uses the word "hate." It’s one thing when He speaks about His haters; that's bad enough for Him to even have to acknowledge that they exist. But, even more heart-rending is when He himself expresses hatred. What could possibly drive such a loving, caring, and compassionate God to hatred?
Ezekiel 22:29 The people of the land have used oppression and extortion and have committed robbery; yes, they have wronged and vexed the poor and needy; yes, they have oppressed the stranger and temporary resident wrongfully.
Isaiah 61:8 For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong with violence for a burnt offering. And I will faithfully give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with them.
It seems that God is saying here that the aroma, even the very essence of wickedness, especially when attached to an "offering” unto Him, is deplorable to His senses. And, if it pains my spirit, I can only imagine what it does to God’s heart to have to undergo hatred, on any level. Such an offering is an absolute afront to who He is, and comes at an extremely high price to the perpetrator.
