We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for people with disabilities and conditions in the UK, including your daughter and yourself. We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 25:40, "Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." God has a special place in His heart for those who are vulnerable, and He calls us to stand up for their rights.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up all people with disabilities and conditions in the###. We pray for Your protection over them, and we ask that You guide the hearts of those in authority. We pray that any plan to force people into work who are not able will be thwarted, and that instead, a spirit of compassion and understanding will prevail.
We pray according to Your word in Proverbs 31:8-9, "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy." Father, we ask that You convict strongly each person involved in these decisions, that they may do the right thing swiftly and always.
We also pray for the financial needs of those with disabilities and conditions. We ask that their benefits will not be decreased or stopped, but rather that You provide them with their rights and significantly more money as needed, always keeping it fair. We remember Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We thank You, Father, that You are a God of justice and compassion. We trust that You will hear our prayers and act on behalf of those in need. We are so thankful the requester believes in Jesus Christ as this is the most important belief. Only through Jesus Christ are we saved and have access to God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and advocating for the rights of people with disabilities. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Keep trusting in God, and keep fighting for what is right and just. We are reminded of the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working, even in the midst of these challenges.
