Righteous and the Ungodly

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of RMathews, who desires to walk in righteousness and delight in Your law. We thank You for the wisdom found in Psalm 1, which reminds us of the blessings that come from seeking after You and meditating on Your Word day and night.

Lord, we pray that You would help RMathews to resist the influence of the wicked and to not be swayed by the ways of sinners or mockers. Grant them the strength and discernment to walk in alignment with Your truth and to stand firm in their faith.

We ask that You would plant RMathews like a tree by streams of water, so that they may bear fruit in due season and experience a life that does not wither. May their actions and endeavors be prosperous, as they seek to honor and obey You.

We also lift up the wicked before You, knowing that their way leads to destruction. We pray for their hearts to be softened and their eyes to be opened to the truth of Your love and salvation. May they turn from their wickedness and find redemption in You.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over RMathews, keeping them from evil and guarding them from any harm or temptation that may grieve them. Help them to rely on Your strength and guidance, knowing that apart from You, they can do nothing.

We thank You, Lord, for watching over the way of the righteous and for being a faithful and loving God. May RMathews continue to seek after You and find joy in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray.

And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
