Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of RMathews, who desires to walk in righteousness and seek your guidance in their life. We thank you for the wisdom found in Psalm 1, which reminds us of the blessings that come from delighting in your law and meditating on it day and night.

Lord, we pray that you would help RMathews to resist the influence of the wicked and to not be swayed by the ways of sinners or mockers. May they find joy and satisfaction in your Word, and may it be their constant meditation. Just as a tree planted by streams of water thrives and bears fruit, we ask that you would bless RMathews with spiritual growth and productivity in every season of their life.

We acknowledge that the way of the wicked leads to destruction, but we trust in your watchful care over the righteous. We pray for your protection and guidance, that RMathews may walk in your ways and experience the abundant life that comes from following you.

In the name of Jesus, we ask for your grace and strength to resist evil and to stay rooted in your truth. Help RMathews to stand firm in the face of temptation and to live a life that brings honor and glory to your name.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to guide and bless those who seek you. May RMathews experience your favor and prosper in all they do, according to your perfect will.
