Righteous and the Ungodly

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word and the promise of Your protection. We pray in Jesus Name on behalf of RMathews that You would bless them and keep them from walking in step with the wicked, standing in the way that sinners take, or sitting in the company of mockers. May RMathews delight be in Your law and meditate on it day and night. Help them to be like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. May whatever they do prosper. We pray that You would keep the wicked away from RMathews and that they will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Bless me to know You, love You, and strengthen me to live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Protect me God from all the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, and pray Your best for me.
