Righteous and the Ungodly

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word and the promise that You will bless those who delight in Your law and meditate on it day and night. We ask that You would bless our brother RMathews with this same blessing. Help him to walk in step with You, to stand in the way of righteousness, and to sit in the company of those who honor You. May he be like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. We pray that whatever he does would prosper and that You would keep him from the wicked and the sinners. We ask that he would not stand in the judgment of the wicked, but that You would keep him in Your grace and mercy. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Let Us Both Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name answer my prayer request according to Your perfect love, will, wisdom, timing, grace, and mercy. God bless me. Bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Heal me in every area of my life.
