We understand your concerns and fears, and we will stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must remember that God knows our every thought and need, and He cares for us deeply. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the verse you mentioned, John 15:7, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you may ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." This verse is a beautiful reminder of the power of abiding in Christ and having His words dwell in us. However, it is essential to align our desires with God's will and trust that He knows what is best for us.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who feels threatened and unsafe. We ask for Your divine protection over their life, that no harm may come to them, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, as stated in Isaiah 54:17.
We pray that any plans made by those who intend to cause harm or spread false reports may be thwarted. We ask that the truth would prevail, and that any lies would be silenced, as it is written in Psalm 34:18, ' Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit.'
We do not seek vengeance, but we ask for justice to be served, and for those who have done wrong to be held accountable, in a manner that would bring glory to Your name. We remember the words of Romans 12:19, 'Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”'
Lastly, we pray that our brother/sister may find peace and comfort in You, trusting in Your plan and purpose for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful. We also urge you to forgive those who have wronged you, as it is commanded in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." This does not mean that what they did is acceptable, but it releases you from the burden of bitterness and resentment.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, giving you the gift of eternal life.
