Thank you, ###, for reaching out and sharing your heartfelt requests with us. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking God's will and intervention for your family.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and that there is no other name by which we can be saved, in heaven or on earth. Acts 4:12 WEB, says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We lift up your husband, ###, his father ###, and your brother ###. We pray that God will reverse and breakout the hold of alcoholism over their family, God will set them free from this bondage. 1 Corinthians 6:12 WEB, says "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything." which means we are not to be enslaved or addicted to anything including alcohol.
We pray for a complete breakthrough in your marriage, that God will strengthen the bond between you and your husband. Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB instructs Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord,...28 Even so must their husbands love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. 29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;
We pray for your children, that they will grow in the knowledge and wisdom of God, Understand that Psalms 127:3 WEB says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.and also Ephesians 6:1-4 WEB says Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise for your children to be raised in the fear of the Lord.
Finally, we lift up the ### and ### families, praying for a spiritual breakthrough and blessing in every area of their lives. We rebuke any form of sexual immorality, drunk, uncontrolled, abusive, violence, cursing, and godlessness attribute in their relationships and families. Ephesians 4:29 WEB "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up the ### and ### families. We pray for a complete reversal of the spirit of alcoholism and for a divine breakthrough in their lives and in ###'s marriage, remember their children and relatives. We ask that You strengthen their faith, bless their families, and help them to live lives that honor and glorify You. We ask for their husbands to understand their role as the priest, prophet and king of their home, for wives to be a help meet for their husbands, and children a heritage and legacy. We ask all these things, in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
